Learn To Play - Metallica DVD

...Metallica are an american heavy metal come thrash metal band, that formed in 1981. Metallica is considered one of the major bands to really lead the way for thrash metal, along side bands like megadeth. This is the third DVD in my metallica collection. I also have the fantastic S&M concert with the San Francisco Philarmonic orchestra, and the Cunning Stunts live concert. Whilst the cover to Metallica the videos looks a little dull and uninspiring, it does contain a real decent DVD. For fans of Metallica this has many of the classic older tracks, as well as some of the stuff from the newly reformed Metallica, and the St. Anger album. The DVD is done in 5.1 surround sound and played very loud sounds just peachy. James Hetfields nice deep powerful voice just booms out in style. So what do you get for your cash? Advantages: Sees another side of Metallica and hear their music in a different light
Disadvantages: Could be seen as selling out as they play their more commercial songs

...This DVD is so worth it. it shows a great side to metallica and adds another dimension to their most amazing songs. and some songs that i didn't like on reload such as bleeding me sound so good with the symphony. i would recommend this to and Metallica and non Metallica fan! there are some songs that they could have added, such as some of the older classics like seek and destroy and Four Horsemen, but this might have taken away from the over all feel of the Symphony and Metallica, and the choice of songs they did were to appeal to a wider audience. it also shows the greatness and vision that was Micheal Camen, who sadly Died in 2003. but this is a great DVD and CD album... A lot of work from Adrian Smith with the guitar showing you some of the songs, this really will help you to learn some guitar riffs by Maiden if your interested.
