Texas, Robert Johnson made some of his final recordings in this Dallas warehouse . Terraplane Blues, Hellhound On My Trail, Me And The Devil Blues, From Four Till Late Session 4 is Eric playing accoustic guitar and singing on his own in the Hotel Casa Del Mar, Santa Monica, California. These songs are:- Ramblin' On My Mind, Stones In My Passway, Love In Vain. The Dvd is a must for all Blues fans. If comparing the two albums Eric Clapton has made paying homage to Robert Johnson. I would rate "Sessions for Robert J" above "Me and Mr Johnson" the only difference between the albums being that Jerry Portnoy plays the Harmonica on the latter. "Me and Mr Johnson" is worth buying too as the Harmonica of Jerry Portnoy brings an added dimension to this collection of songs. I would recommend anybody who loves the Blues to buy ...

Unplugging The Musical Ability Of Eric Clapton

Advantages: Great Tracks Throughout

As an artist, Eric Clapton has done a huge amount to promote early blues musicians, reworking some songs, and simply playing versions that follow them to the note. This is notably obvious on Me & Mr Johnson, his tribute to the work of Robert Johnson, often seen as the king of delta blues, but can be found throughout his catalogue. His ability as a guitarist is well known and it is prominent throughout the album as you might guess, being backed by a strong group of musicians to further add to the intimacy of the performance. And it is this ability that allows him to delve into the blues catalogue and provide covers that almost match the beauty of the originals, although admittedly with a larger instrumental backing in most cases. The album itself was recorded in a small venue to an equally small audience, whom I assume are big fans ...

Learn to play - Bryan adams DVD - ROCKIN!

Advantages: The song choice and the ease of use

This is quite possibly the best DVD I have ever brought =]. I was doing some early christmas shopping yesterday and decided to take a gander in HMV. Being a Bryan Adams fan myself, Its only natural that I would notice this dvd on the far shelf lol. Upon looking at the price tag it said £23.99 O.O. Yes .. it shocked me too. Personally I paid the full amount because I love bryan adams and his music, although you may feel differently. When I got home, I proceeded to play the DVD when I came across a wide range of features. First, I found that the dvd was about learning to play Bryan adams songs lol hence the title. The DVD teachs you 5 classic rock anthems that include 'Summer of 69' 'Run to you' 'Its only love' 'Cant stop this thing we' and started. Each song is clearly explained note for note with this award winning ...
