Advantages: Clear, easily understood instruction, suitable for the absolute beginner Disadvantages: limited source of inspiration to that of what interests the presenter
...This a complete course about watercolor painting. The presenter Alwyn Cranshaw has also written a few books on the subject so it easy to cross reference the information. As this is my first attempts at watercolor I am so far happy with the results of the techniques I have learned which in turn has improved my own confidence in the medium. Alwyn's presentation is kept simple throughout and he does not complicate the subject with an array of technical terms. Advantages: Keeps little ones quiet for hours Disadvantages: Trying to persuade the "little one" to turn it off!

I have two young boys and three nieces who love Brum and never tire of watching the adventures he gets up to.
This little car certainly has his fair share...

Advantages: Educational, Fun, Colourful Disadvantages: None, I love this DVD!!
...I bought my daughter this dvd after noticing how well she interacted with this show when it was featured on tv. The songs are fantastic and even I find myself singing them every now and again. This two disc DVD set features several Boo adventures which all feature his friends Growling Tiger, Sleeping Bear and Laughing Duck and Boo in a variety of disguises. There is no specific storyline just numerous small adventures where you have to find Boo in different environments.
