Advantages: You Can listen to it with your children with no worries about language or content, for the most Disadvantages: I think I enjoyed her voice more when she was younger.
This cd brought me back to being 10 years old when LeAnn's first major album came out. I like that you can hear how she's developed her own sound over the years, as she has grown from girl to woman. The lyrics are good and they get better with the ones that she is directly involved in writing. The whole album is a high quality recording. As far as being compared to others in her field, I'd say it fares pretty well. I mean, considering the fact that most people releasing a "best of" album are twice LeAnn's age. It was not over-the-top expensive, but you have to be savvy when you're shopping for music. Most "music only" stores are totally overpriced. All in all, I give it a thumb's up! ...
Advantages: less poppy than her previous release Disadvantages: the ballards
LeAnnRimes has in her time as a recording artist released 12 albums, and one greatest hits collection, not bad for a woman who is still only 25!
Having bought this album off the strength of the first single release Nothin Better to do, which hasnt had a huge amount of radio airplay - at least not on the stations I tend to listen to, but the video has been on seemingly permanent rotation on several music channels (hmm the attractions of a pretty blonde maybe?), and is a poppy country song about the ease with which you can get in to trouble living in a remote area.
Opening with the title track Family the album starts well, the country start becomes a rockier track which covers all the reasons a family is what it is, and how it is, certainly it seems Leann has been lucky enough to have a family who have kept her rooted despite her ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Family - LeAnn Rimes
Advantages: Some great songs Disadvantages: Needs lryics in the cover
"One of these days I'll be completely over you. Heaven knows how long it will take"
Another break up song. But Leann does them in style. I think this is another B track song. I can't think of much to say about it, which isn't a good sign.
(9) I Believe In You
"I believe in you, and nothing less. I believe in you, can't help yourself"
This one is going to be a hit. Somewhere in the top ten, I predict. Another song that sounds like it should be on a soundtrack.
(10) Together, Forever, Always
"Together, forever always, from the dawn till the end each day"
Soppy, love song, the sort that is played and the end of a party. Delightful waltz, so good for dancing. I hate this type of song, but is a good track for the end of the album.
In Conclusion
I've been a fan of LeannRimes for quite a while now, brought ...
