League Of Their Own 2 - Warriors Down Under DVD

Advantages: Another Miller classic brilliantly brought to life.
Disadvantages: Errrrm..... there won't be a sequel.

Advantages: great film, plenty of action...
Disadvantages: why do you just stand around?

...seemed so realistic. Actors performed very well in the film and each had there own characteristics in their individual way but came together as one, as the warriors. The film contains tension between the Warrior members and between different gangs. Even the extras play an important role and do a good job if they are in the spotlight for even a minute. The music to film really stands out, watching this film in the 21st century really makes it one of kind, the music is from the late 70's ( I think ) and brings the 70's to life. The music also fits into the film in the different areas, such as at the beginning of the film, it has that kind of 70's feel, and when you hear it, you think… ooo an 70's film… The film also contains plenty of action in the way of fighting, for all you fight lovers, this film is a must buy. Advantages: Loved the idea of the characters!
Disadvantages: Bad plot, poor acting!

...the audience continually uttering 'Huh?'" Rich Cline, SHADOWS ON THE WALL Well that's the opinion of the critics folks, which should at least give you some idea of what this film is like. Personally I couldn't agree more with these views, especially the last one! Okay so here is the boring techie stuff I have to do. ***TECHIE STUFF*** The DVD is a 2 disc set It has a 12 certificate. Nothing too bad on this film, just watch out for the vampire! A little violence and some action scenes that smaller children may find disturbing. This film has a running time of 1 hour and 50 minutes and comes in a widescreen edition of the DVD. Comes under the Action/Adventure/Fantasy genre with a couple of immortal beings and otherwise superheros. Released by 20th Century Fox (What in heaven's name were they thinking!?!?!)
