on the surface whilst they have dark secrets. This is were the title 'Inside Man' comes in, at first I thought it indicated some sort of spy or infiltrator nad to an extent it does within the film but it also means inside a man's mind.
A very good film and one I'd definitely recommend to anyone. Mine cost me £5 from XtraVision and I'm quite happy with the value. There were no DVD extras. Similar films would be Dog Day Afternoon and Phonebooth but if you didn't like those films (I didn't like Phonebooth ) I wouldn't be put off.
Certificate
The film is a 15. There is alot of bad langauge and only some violence.

The DVD has an excellent running time of 135 minutes, not quite up to the 24 hours itself, but it covers the full event, from the technical scrutineering of the cars and driver (!) which takes place during the week before the race, through ...
Advantages: Good acting and plot Disadvantages: The 'ease' of a complicated plot makes it unbelievable
Director Spike Lee is very well known for such films as Malcolm X and Mo Better Blues. Here, in the 2006 film Inside Man, he directs a stellar cast in a crime thriller with a twist, a thoughtfully directed film about a bank heist gone wrong.
