Advantages: Three amazing films in one Disadvantages: Doesn't include all the DVD extras that come with the special edition versions
I loved this collection, 3 perfect films in 1 box! 'LayerCake' is based upon a novel by JJ Connelly, and is done very well. Film from novels can sometimes ruin the novel but this is very good, some amazing acting and I loved the music.
Snatch is very good, like all Guy Richie films its got a good in depth storyline that catches you off guard, it's very funny and quick. I think that Brad Pitt's proformance was very good, loved the accent, he seemed to be really natural with it, not a stupid sterotype which always sucks!
Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels is also really funny, some of the humor is quite dry and witty which I love! A surprise appearence by Sting, didn't know he could act, but he is very talented. And of course who could forget Vinny Jones! Another very good proformance!
If you love English gangster films you will love ...
Advantages: decent storyline, good acting and funny Disadvantages: predictable in parts
the film is that it does get quite complicated at times and therefore I would recommend a second viewing to clear up anything you didn't fully understand first time around.
