Advantages: It's got everything, absolutaly great! Disadvantages: Could have had more documentaries about them
...Laurel and Hardy have brought humour to the world for decades now and their innocent comedy style is something no one can find fault with.
I have had this box set for over a year now and it is a must buy item. It has 21 DVDs categorised for easy finding on what you want to watch. Each DVD has it's own theme on Laurel and Hardy. A lot of the movies and shorts are available on the DVDs to watch in black and white or restored colour versions which i find excellent. So it will suite whatever your likes are.
Laughter, laughter, laughter. When you watch Laurel and Hardy enough you will begin to appreciate that you aren't just watching comedy actors but two absolute geniuses who's expertise in comedy as a duo has been unparrelled ever since. There is nothing more satisfying than having this box set. You have the complete work of two legends...

Advantages: Laurel & Hardy at there best!!! Disadvantages: None.
...From start to finish an utter delight with Laurel and Hardy at there best. Only equal to ' Way Out West ' maybe.....depending which is your favourite. Also features a hilarious reel with Charlie Chase '........ Ollie also manages to sing a few songs.....great voice he has too. This is one of those comedies which just gets better with age ......films like this will be watched and enjoyed in many years to come....Laurel & Hardy will most definitely stand the test of time.........Unfortunately a lot of their films were inferior to there 20 minute or so shorts but this one and a few others are really just as good with perfect timing etc which the boys were so brilliant at...............all i can add is excellent ....you really must see this!!!!!!...

On departing the coach they are shocked to discover that the lady whom they have offended is none other than the wife of the sheriff of Brushwood Gulch. In true western film style the sheriff gives them till the end of the day to leave town, or else. This sets the pace of the film nicely, as the boys are now working on a time limit to deliver the goods they came to deliver and get out of town before they meet the wrath of the sheriff and his men.
In the local saloon the proprietor over hears their conversations and informs them that their work is done, as the girl they seek lives above that very saloon. Of course, unbeknown to Stan and Ollie the Mary Roberts who accepts...
