Advantages: Hilarious comedy, good viewing Disadvantages: only 3 episodes, expensive to buy whole set individually
Another installement to my DVD collection - the epic and classic comedy hero - Mr Bean. I love Rowan Atkinson, especially in Black Adder and also in the classic Mr Bean episodes. Despite my mood before hand, after watching Mr Bean I always feel much better, he always manages to intrigue my imagination with his biazarre mannerisms and abilty to turn the most straight forward of tasks into complete disaters!
Having not being able to buy the whollebox set I have had to purchase and review each DVD volume one by one.
This DVD contains 3 episodes, each with 3 or 4 sketches in them. All of whihc are brilliant and this DVD includes one of my favourites - the one where he goes to the swimming pool and clings to the diving board. The three episodes are entitled: Episode 1. 'The Curse Of Mr Bean', Episode 2. 'Mr Bean Goes To Town ...
Advantages: Good action Disadvantages: A bit unbelievable and Leelee Sobieski is a really bad actress
In his last umpteen films, I've found Al Pacino supremely irritating. Its been years since he done a film worthy of his early talent, and its been even longer since he done a film where he didn't spend the entire time shouting his way through his lines. Maybe the old fella has become a bit deaf. It was surprising then that I found his performance in 88 minutes a slight return to form, even if the film itself wasn't entirely fantastic. In it, Pacino plays a forensic doctor who lectures at the local university. He is a highly regarded expert in his field and is often called upon to give his expert opinion on murder cases.
The film opens 9 years in the past, where Doctor Jack Gramm assists in the conviction of a man who is accused of attacking twin sisters. Whilst one of the sisters died, the other manages to escape with relatively few ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of 88 Minutes DVD
Advantages: entertains the kids Disadvantages: not brilliant, not that funny, more cute than funny
. However this defeats the object of the Beanmeister. He was supposed to be old fashioned and quirky, living in the ignorance of modern advances of technology and updated fashion trends.
Saying this, the kids appear to love it. Why I ask it really is not funny, and he talks too much. The old mr bean got in trouble incidently, this cartoon version appears to go looking for it.
The DVD consists of one disc and features eight animated episodes each lasting abou 15 - 20 minutes in length, including: 'No Pets', 'Ray Of Sunshine', 'Birthday Bear', 'The Mole', 'Roadworks', 'The Sofa', 'Treasure' and 'Homeless'. In these episodes we see a cartoon version of the classic Mr Bean go about his daily chores, celebrate his teddy's birthday, get in trouble with the police and even manages to loose possesion of his home.
Overall I'm awarding a 3 star ...
