Advantages: More of a documentary on Pablo Escobar Disadvantages: Not really a documentary on the whole columbian cartels
Probably the best 'Lords of the Mafia' dvd you can get. Again as all the rest theres 45 minutes worth of documentary most of which is focused on Pablo Escobar, the long time king of the Columbian drug trade. He was known in his town as a Robin Hood type character, using his drug money to build churches and fix houses in the villages near his home. Unfortunately the through his drug establishment and superhighway into the US, he caused deaths to thousands including judges and politicians.
The footage of Escobar is much better than the others probably because he wasnt shy of the camera and in turn acted as a saviour to his people but behind the scenes made millions through cocaine.
You get to get into the minds of his enemies and the plans to bring him down both in his home land and abroad, ultimately culminating in his death which ...
Advantages: Excellent acting, directing, storyline...the list goes on! Disadvantages: none
This movie is an absolute classic. I have watched it numerous times, and every time I feel as entertained and emotionally moved as the last. The movie is extremely thought provoking, to the extent that you will most probably find yourself re-evaluating your life as a result of it!
The plot:

American History X is not another Crime/Drama film,something like "hit and run". It's story about two racist brothers Derek and Danny. All started then Derek's younger brother Danny heard a noise outside and saw two guys snooping around his brother car. Derek ran outside and unmercifully killed them. He was sent to prison for 3 years. In prison he understand that racism and some other things that he believed is pointless and bullshit. Meanwhile his younger brother is trying to do everything like his brother, Derek is his hero.
Then Derek back from prison he saw that nothing has changed. His friends, Danny still are racists. Derek mission is change his brother before it will be to late and start a new life.
