...They may be every parent's nightmare, but the rap all-stars that comprise the 2000 Up in Smoke tour (smoke, as in blunts and chronic--or marijuana, for the uninitiated) are incredibly popular with a surprising cross-section of young music lovers today. This two-hour-plus DVD captures most of one concert by the four rappers who joined together for this tour: Ice Cube, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. If you aren't a fan of the music, don't expect this to change your mind or even to help you understand these rappers' appeal. For the devoted, however, you get heaping doses of four of the hottest acts working, in a show that includes lavish production values as well as plenty of backstage footage and photographs as extra features. ...It Comes, Catch the Sun, The Man Who Told Everything, There Goes the Fear, Pounding, and Caught By the River. Also on the DVD there are a few short films - 'A Very peak Practice - 2000 Tour Intro Film', 'Episode One - The Last Intro - 2002 tour intro film', a hidden Sub Sub documentary, and a Doves documentary. There are also some photo galleries and screensaver and the suchlike for if you watch the DVD on your computer. Playing the DVD I apologise for the list-like form of this section of review, but I think it's worth laying out exactly what this DVD contains or else my review will become a bit confusing! When you load the DVD you are presented firstly with a parental guidance message and then secondly with a rather confusing screen that appears to have no options on it. ...The greatest animated sitcom there has been and there will ever be. The Family Guy complete series 2 DVD is a must have for anyone who likes a laugh. Witty and insightful, cutting and in some places just plain rude. Series 2 carries on in the same vain as series 1 with the only major change being the replacement of Lacey Chabert as the voice of Meg and the welcome addition of Mila Kunis (that 70's show). The episodes run in a set order but it makes little difference if you watch the show in the order it was released.
