The Last of the Mohicans

Advantages: Enjoyable, emotional, AMAZING!
Disadvantages: A little confusing in certain bits

and all the way through the soundtrack is so good, the film to me is like a dream from childhood, I would really love to be like Hawkeye, its so cool. I really connected with the film. The story revolves around three men, these are the last of the Mohicans, a dying out Indian tribe. Chingachgook and Uncas are the true Mohicans, the third a white adopted man called Nathaniel Po/Hawkeye. They plan to head west to Kentucky but get caught up in a war that is none of their own fault. Not only does the story revolve the Mohicans, it has other little stories built into the film. These include such aspects as jealousy, love, honesty, trust and so on that we; as people go through each day. The film portrays these very well and almost anything you can think of is included. The film has plenty of fighting and action packed scenes, on some ...

Last of the Mohicans

Advantages: Trevor Jones
Disadvantages: Randy Edelman

Based on the novel by James Fenimore Cooper and the 1936 screenplay adaptation, The Last of the Mohicans was a powerhouse movie, starring Daniel Day-Lewis as the frontier scout Hawk-eye, a white man raised amongst the Delaware Indians. With the help of his Mohican friends Chingachgook and Uncas he now helps the two daughters of a military commander to their father in the middle of warfare with the French and their recruited Indian allies the Hurons, headed by the wicked Magua. Directed by Michael Mann, the film is a fast-paced action adventure that is immensely entertaining as well as perfectly performed. Despite a two-hour running time the film just seems to fly by thanks to the fast pacing and captivating story that in the novel often seems to get stuck in overlong descriptions and empty dialogue stretches. The Last of the Mohicans ...

Review of Last Of The Mohicans, The (Original Score) - Original Score

I like to watch film "The Last Of The Mohicans"

Advantages: so romantic, full action, so heroic, Great entertainment
Disadvantages: A bit gory at times

trying to reach their father, a British colonel in command at the fort. Hawkeye, the rustic tracker, and Cora, the refined, eldest daughter, are naturally drawn together (much to the dismay of Major Heyward, an intriguing character who also vies for Cora's affections). The Last of the Mohicans is a marvelous, visual adventure that thoroughly reveals the horrors of warfare, the wildness of a chaste frontier, and the fated and ill-fated romances of the characters involved ...
