The Land Before Time has been made into a series of movies, each lasting about 70minutes running time. The first one was released in 1988 and the sequels about 2 years after. Now avalible to own on DVD, you can have the classic & the ultimate Dinosaur equialent of Bambi in your collection.
The story follows on from the first movie where littlefoot, the longnecked dinosaur, is orphaned and has to battle preadtors and the elements in order to find the great valley. He and his newely made friends live together in this film under the watchful eye of their parents, or grandparents in the case of littlefoot.
As for the general quality of the graphics and animation, I'd say it was quite a let down. It's not really been improved very much from the old Video tape format. The songs and sound quality however is noticably different, either ...

The other Lassie films all share similar story lines but don?t be deterred by this if you can find one to hire or see one advertised make sure you either tape it or hire it and it will become a family favourite filled with all the drama, humour, romance and emotion you could wish for.
The loyalty and companionship shared between Lassie and her owners is truly humbling. If only life was like films Eh.

Advantages: Fun, amusing, entertaining for children Disadvantages: You'll get bored watching it over & over again!
Okay, so how many of you don't know Barney? Well Barney is a small purple dinosaur, that is turned into one giant, walking, talking dinosaur brought to life by children's imagination. Barney also has two side kicks who are also dinosaurs Baby Bop and BJ, ones yellow and the other is green and I can never remember which way round it goes. Barney has been around for many years and has been enjoyed by many generations of children.
Barney has a way of introducing fun into learning and has many DVDs, Videos and books that help with counting, the alphabet, music appreciation, morals and manners. Children love him and parents learn to grin and bear this lovable dino!
