Land of the Dead This film is quite a disappointment. The astonishingly predictable plot line isnt all that good, and shares many of the twists and general ideas with other zombie films such as dawn of the dead. As it is based on a game, there are frequent interruptions in the film to show parts of game footage, which can begin to get irritating when you're trying to watch. The characters are very stereotypical and nothing that we haven't already seen before.
Shaun of the Dead This film is a personal favourite of mine. it combines horror, comedy and romance to produce a truly great film. From the makers of Spaced (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost), its bound to be a great comedy film, and it doesnt disappoint. the plot is quite good, the jokes are great and there are several moments of emotion. A few plot holes, but nothing thats not explained on the extras dvd. I'd advise you to buy this on its own, with out the Land of the Dead dvd entow.
