...I had never heard of! Ladyhawke what the heck is Ladyhawke? Wait a minute it has got a couple of names in it though Matthew Broderick, (He was in Wargames and Ferris Bueller’s Day off wasn’t he?) Rutger Hauer (He was the cool android in Blade Runner) but who on earth is Michelle Pffeiffer???? Still it looks like it could be fun and I bet Hauer is the bad guy. So £2.50 later I am watching something that will have me in the cinema again the next day.
... ...So me getting my current Ladyhawke fix is thanks to a friend of mine having the DVD in his collection and being willing to loan it to me:) So on Monday afternoon I sat back and relaxed as I met up with a friend I have not seen in a long time to say the least.

Ladyhawke, starring Matthew Broderick (famous for Ferris Bueller’s day off and now starring in a Mel Brook's play on broadway - Producers.), Rutger Hauer (famous for Blade Runner and Guinness commercials ) and Michelle Pfeiffer (who shouldn't need any introdction) is a fantasy, adventure and love story combined into one. <The Plot>
Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer play cursed lovers who are doomed to be apart forever; this love is both wonderful ... ...or kiss. During the day Rutger is a man, and Michelle a hawk. During the night, Rutger is a wolf and Michelle a woman. An evil priest who is jealous of their love and desires Michelle for himself cursed them; this priest holds authoriy over the land. ...be rather good. Ladyhawke features Matthew Broderick as Phillipe, a pickpocket in 13th century France, who is captured and throw into a dungeon to rot. He escapes however, and in order to elude his captors, hides in the nearby forest where he is picked up by a knight on horseback who saves him from further harm. That Knight is Navarre(Rutger Hauer), former chief Knight to a Bishop(John Wood) now a loner travelling the land with his hawk, forced from ... ...which either meant that 1985 was an extremely good year for films, or its been extremely unfortunate. Take a lok at Ladyhawke when you have some spare time,, maybe its not your cup of tea, but its certainly worth giving a chance especially when its shown on television so often. ...
