...near the kind of gun culture that those films suggest), they are all well crafted, detailed, luxurious, mouth watering and involving, with a bit of confusing carnality of the mind for good measure, even his much slated recent film "Revolver". The same can't really be said for his imitators however- "51st State" drew rave reviews but I thought it was pretty ridiculous; and the recent 80's set film "The Business" was the epitome of the Guy Ritchie wannabe film, infact to my mind it was the "Cocktail" of the naughties- i.e. a film that is clearly amateur hack work and which panders pretentiously to the beer culture level, though having said that there was a degree of politics in the film in terms of what was going on in Spain in the early 80's, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't find it entertaining..... Oh what the hell, I have it on my DVD...

Advantages: Great for keeping little ones quiet Disadvantages: the song! little red tractor he's king of the field...........
...My son got into Little Red Tractor after watching Cbeebies so when I saw the dvd one day in the store I though I'd get it for him and I'm glad I did.
I love this kind of animation and takes me back to childhood watching things like 'The Flumps' and Postman Pat, so I don't mind my 3 year old watching this sort of programme. The dvd is aged for 2-6 year olds but I'm 30 and I loved it as well!
I love the fact that everyone helps each other, even with the bit of rivalry between Stan and Mr Jones. The other thing I like is the fact that little red tractor is seen as a bit of an under-dog by most as he's older and smaller than the other's but he's always the one to save the day which, as they say on the cover, you 'don't have to be the biggest to be the best'! I like the ideals of the programme that shows that it doesn't matter who or what...

Advantages: Interesting vehicles Disadvantages: Money making machine, poor extras, bland stories
...to find other ways of going around their small communities. Unlikely.
*** The end of the rant*** ( Don't push me , you won't like me when I'm angry)
Oh silly me, it's because children like all different types of vehicles and find them interesting. This is true but what do I hear you at the back with the cynical take on life whispering. WHAT! I beg your pardon. The companies behind these programmes would never create all these vehicles so they could then produce toys in their likeness, which they could then sell to parents at high prices. What an idea! Although it does say on the back of The Little Red Tractor DVD " Look out for Little Red Tractor toys from Corgi, available in all good toy stores". What a strange coincidence.
**** An overview ***** ( Your not going to get angry again?)
Anyway enough of that and back to the DVD...
