...bulletproof monk is jam packed with chinese style kungfu, yet a bit dissapointing conversations from Chow Yun Fat
Based on the very underground comic book, Chow is the immortal Tibetan monk that needs to protect the scroll. the first half of the movie was rather thrilling with good computer generated animation etc.
but the second half is rather repeating itself and it is rather boring.
I would buy and keep this for a rainy day and when there's nothing else to do . watch it.
A monk. A punk. A chick. In a kick-ass flick.
this says it all...
Seann William Scott is funny as usual...so if all things failed to amuse you. you would find yourself smilling when movie is over
Kung pow enter the fist......
not a bad movie, however, i would't say it is an interesting one....

...A sci fi KungFu film?? It could work....
And it did. With one of the best story lines ever and a field full of well known actors, the Matrix was sure to be a hit. It was, a big hit, a VERY big hit. And even more so with me. Unfortunately the actors had to train alot and even Keanu doesnt have the skills of the nation but they do very well alongside Laurence Fishbourne.
The squel will include Jet Li, the master of KungFu and wires which will make this film infinitely better....

Advantages: Martial arts beauty without blood, Acting Disadvantages: If you don't like Non English Language films, be aware that this one is subtitled. A dull mid section of the film

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is a beautiful film set in ancient China. I get the impression that this film could be about a legend, because there are a lot of moments in the film clearly using wires. This is very well done however, and if you keep an open mind, you'll realise that it is not how these people jump from trees and rooftops and walk on water that is important.
Aside from the superhuman Kung-Fu, there are scenes and moments within scenes that represent real, possible (with training) Kung'Fu. These fight sequences are well choreographed, even better than the Kung-Fu sequence in The Matrix!!
To be honest, the story is weak, and there is a very dull spot half...
