At the end of the first film, Batman gave his word to Jim Gordon that he will investigate the actions of a criminal called The Joker. This film continues the story a year later but takes it to another level entirely. Batman, Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent have joined forces to combat the crime levels within Gotham City, remember all the patients that were released by the Ra's Al Ghul from Arkham Asylum in the first film? Well they are still at large in Gotham City so it is up to the newly formed alliance to deal with this terror. Working together they basically break up the criminal organisations that are attempting to run the City for there own good.

Advantages: Good story, excellent acting, great effects Disadvantages: Not the best Camelot based film
to visit Wales again as I have not been for so many years. The music through out the film was excellent and I found it really did help with the emotions of the film and setting the scenes for the places which it was used. The majority of the tracks were only played in the background behind talking but when they were featured on their own they really did stand out and sound excellent.
The DVD which we have does not have any bonus features but this is no loss to me as I am not a fan of them anyway. The running time of the film is 2 hours and 8 minutes which may sound quite long but I did not notice the length when watching it and found it kept moving at a good pace from start to finish. The certificate on this film is a PG and I do agree with this, there are some violent scenes which may not be suitable for very young viewers but ...
