Kiss Of The Dragon was released in 2001 and stars Jet Li (Romeo Must die), Bridget Fonda (Jackie Brown) and Tceky Laryo (Bad Boys) and is set in the beatiful Paris. This blu ray release enhances the setting, quality of clothing, everything basically. Its quite a dark film and the blu ray version gives you those little bits of brightness that give you enough hope that the stroy will have a happy ending.

Li plays Liu Jiuan, but is constantly called Johnny, and is a top chinese government agent who is bought over from china to assist Richard (Laryo) a french police officer in a international drugs conspiracy. Little does Johnny know that Richard is a bent copper who is the mastermind behind the whole thing.

Richard sees Johnny as a nuisance and sets him up for a murder he didnt committ. Johnny is forced to run in a strange country and runs into Jessica (Fonda) who has been forced to take drugs and go into prostitution to pay off Richard who previously helped her daughter go through school. Between them they aim to bring down Richard and his gang.

Now thats as much info as your gonna get as i dont want to ruin the film for you but i can assure you that if you are a fan of Jet Li's fighting style then this is definately for you. He gets caught up in some really intriuging predicaments and has to use items and the surrounding area to fight his way out of them

some of the moves are amazing and some of the deaths even more. The film is not all about fighting though, a real bond is made between the two characters and similar to Romeo Must Die, its refreshing to see a male and a female not automatically fall in love!

Special Features include commentary, action featurette, fight philosopy, storyboard sequence, martial arts demo, making of and many others which are all interesting to watch. Another note that is well worth mentioning is the music played whilst the fight scenes are taking place, some good instrumental neptunes productions helps set the pace and atmosphere.

I hope you all enjoy watching. Live the dream
