Blackadder Goes Forth is the forth and final season of the Blackadder saga, created by Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson. Ben Elton helped write this series and seasons 2 and 3 too, which to me is when Blackadder really took off and became the beloved show it is today.
This series is set during the trenches of World War I, specifically in 1917 on the western front. Blackadder is now Captain Blackadder, and a big push out of the trenches is planned, and the captain is not above doing anything he can to not get killed. Blackadder is joined by Lieutenant George (Hugh Laurie) a textbook public schoolboy with a love for cricket, tiddlywinks and a idealistic view of what this war is, and their cook, Private Baldrick, who when supplies run out, has to use his imagination, to hilarious effect.

Advantages: Great strong story, memorable characters, wonderful performances and a powerful film. Disadvantages: Plot at times a bit complex and I cannot remember the soundtrack.
Belonging to a film club I get to see a lot of films. In fact, watching films is one of my favourite pastimes. Recently I watched ?The Last King of Scotland?. It is a 2006 British drama film based on Giles Foden's novel.
It tells the fictional tale of Dr Nicholas Garrigan (James McAvoy). He is a young Scottish doctor who visits Uganda and meets with dictator Idi Amin (Forest Whitaker). On meeting Idi Amin he soon becomes his personal physician and this is where the story begins. The film is based around actual events of Amin's dictatorship.
The film begins in Scotland 1970 when Nicholas Garrigan graduates from medical school. The young man has no idea of the events that are about to take place in his life. He has no idea how his work will change history or where he will end up. Maybe if he did know then he wouldn't choose ...
Advantages: action packed adventure Disadvantages: quite a weak story and short.
I'm not a wrestling fan but I'm fully aware of who the rock is because everyone seems to keep on about him.
I enjoyed the mummy returns and when he was in that as the scorpion king I thought it was going to be a follow up from that.
So this was inspired by the hugely succesfull 'mummy series' and is a action packed epic adventure filled with spectacular stunts and fight sequences.

DVD Description
Frank Sinatra stars as Lieutenant Sam Loggins, an American G.I. stationed in a small war torn French village in KINGS GO FORTH. Abroad and lonely, he falls in love with a mixed-race American woman, Monique (Natalie Wood). Monique in turn has set her sights on Britt (Tony Curtis), a rich playboy who's a new member of Sam's platoon. When Sam learns that Britt has told Monique he could never marry her because she isn't white, he resolves to kill Britt. But an upcoming mission vital to the Allies' victory over the Nazis makes both men reconsider their feud. Set in France in 1944, KINGS GO FORTH is a riveting film. Director Daves renders an exotic backdrop of villas and meadows as the two battle-hardened GI's court Monique, evoking a teenage sense of lust and angst. Most delectable however are the hunky leads. Cleverly juxtaposed, Sinatra and Curtis are utterly convincing as enemies. One cannot help but root for Sinatra's character Sam.
