are on an expedition. Their mission is to find unexplored territory in hope of exploiting its resources. What they find is the legendary Skull Island. Upon arriving on its shores they discover a strange and primitive world of mystery and danger, a place that very few explorers have managed to survive to tell the tale. For legend has it that on those very shores the natives worship a giant ape god name Kong, a wild and savage beast that can only be appeased by human sacrifice.

king kong is good for a night in with your friends and family or you partner. It shows what it is like to be an animat and to be captured for a show. I think young children would not like this move because it is upsetting and also very cruel to see what happens to animals when they are poatured even though it is not real. People might see this as an oportunaty to see a gorilla even though it is not real. The gorrila and ...

Advantages: Brilliant special effects Disadvantages: Can drag on
, giant life size insects which many would find ?cringey? and of course the almighty Kong all of which the effects are done brilliantly and look very realistic. As the film goes on the relationship changes between Kong and Ann and she doesn?t see him as a scary beast as such.
Carl a hungry film maker sees pounds signs when he looks at Kong and once captured he is transported to New York where he is chained up on stage for hundreds to be mesmerized over. It isn?t long before Kong becomes angry with the unwanted attention and escapes where he is ends up at the top of the Empire State Building with Ann.
KingKong has won various well deserving Awards such as:
*Oscar for Best Achievement in Sound editing
*Oscar for Best Achievement in Sound mixing
*Oscar for Best Achievement Visual effects

Advantages: Great special effects - particularly Kong Disadvantages: Overlong
The original 1933 KingKong movie is still one of the greatest fantasy films of all time, with the mixture of great imagery, camerawork and acting making it an unmissable film, particularly with Fay Wray as the pretty Ann Darrow, who falls into the clutches of Kong. It is a gripping film that can still thrill people today, even if it is over 70 years old. When it was announced that a remake of this timeless classic was to be made, with Lord Of The Rings maestro Peter Jackson at the helm, I was excited and apprehensive at the same time. Obviously the special effects would be much better than both the 1933 and 1976 versions, but I was worried that the story would not be as well executed as in the black and white version. I also wasn't sure if Naomi Watts would play the role of Ann Darrow as well as Fay Wray, or if Jack Black could pull it ...
Advantages: The most human Kong with phenomenal special effects Disadvantages: overlong: opening act starts to drag and New York scenes feel sterile
director: Peter Jackson
starring: Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Brody
running time: 187 mins
rating: 12A
In completing KingKong Jackson both fulfilled a childhood dream and showed just how valuable a well-timed remake can be, even if the original is as iconic a masterpiece as this. Another combination of Andy Serkis' acting skills with Weta technology, we are granted an utterly real Kong, visually rather than just by drawing us into the fantasy world as with the previous films.
We follow struggling actress Ann Darrow [Naomi Watts] as she meets the untrustworthy filmmaker Carl Denham [Jack Black]. Pursued by creditors, he hires her as the lead for his picture, setting sail for the undiscovered Skull Island by following a map he has received. Scriptwriter Jack Driscoll [Adrien Brody] has also been tricked into joining them ...
A masterpiece and one of the top moneymakers of the 1930s. Fortune hunters travel to Skull Island in search of the fabled giant ape 'King Kong'. Enticing him with the lovely Fay Wray they capture him and bring him back to New York where he escapes and ransacks the city searching for her.
A classic due mainly to Willis O'Brien's animation work and the screaming power of Fay Wray (The Guardian, )
Has lost none of its power to move, excite or sadden (Time Out, )
