A well written, expertly director piece of action meets history where all of the key characters where well casted and played. The crux of the film, Arthur himself, was expertly casted with Clive Owen's the lead man himself was cleverly carried as the actor carried the part into a new light whilst still up holding the image of King Arthur as the fearless and courageous character of history. Kiera Knightley performed beyond any of her other roles in this movie giving Guinevere both a chic, attractive and beautiful edge and at the same time being an unkempt warrior who's physical appearance should not deceive the senses. The atmosphere that was created throughout the movie was well on par with Gladiator with the immense soundtrack captivating the senses and majestically drawing you into the world beyond the screen. In all the script was well written, expertly casted and all was well directed. This movie has all the right aspects and should appeal to a wide audience, whilst on the big screen and the small.
