Poor student. Should probably steer away from buying things; but they're just too shiny.

SYNOPSIS: So, only 3 more to go then? The Bride continues her revenge with determinism. And anything else would give away story. SORRY!
I have read that QT wanted this to be the Western half to part 1's Eastern; and you can definately tell. It's a lot less adrenaline fuelled, and goes for that slow-burn effect so that when the action kicks in, there is a lot more backstory to it.
Many people have complained about the length or pace of this film, but I definately enjoyed it: maybe even more so than the first. It's important to keep in mind that:
THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT FILMS.
Dont expect the kung-fu, blood soaked, style mashing action movie that was the 1st half. You will be disappointed, and rightly so! This film bears no resemblence to no. 1 and I found it a refreshing change.
To be honest, KB1 was so action-ey that any attempt to better it with a sequel would have been foolish; so a round of applause for QT's foresight! The only way it is similar is by the soundtrack; which I thought was cool.
In short: Dont watch it if you only liked the first one because this is SOOO different!
