I walked in the pictures all excited! Bought a large diet-Pepsi and large pop corn and found a comfortable seat near the screen (I believe that sitting at the far end of the screen is pointless and doesn't make a difference from watching the TV).
So anyway, there I was ... on the edge of my seat ... It began...
I loved the fact that it takes you back to the wedding day and describes in details what happened. There are many fighting scenes but nothing as gory as vol1. The fact that the movie takes you back in time and then back to the present and back again is not confusing at all and it is essential for the plot. I laughed a lot with the Pai Mei story and Tarantino travelled in the past in such a way that when you are watching the final moment of the movie everything makes sense and becomes clear.
Forget some of the past none-make-sense Tarantino movies, this has it all!
I don't want to give away anything but I will say that it was one of the few movies where at a certain point I didn't know what was going to happen. It sure beats typical Hollywood cinema.
Uma Therman gives a memorable and outstanding performance (I think she looks fantastic with the sword!). Quentin Tarantino has truly found his muse. Very good on screen chemistry between Uma Therman and David Carradine who is very good as well.

Advantages: An excellent rip-roaring conclusion to an excellent first part, Tarantino at his best.Pure genius in celluloid. Disadvantages: A shame there is not a 3rd part to this movie.
