In my opinion, this film (volume 1 +2) defines the nostalgic, "Grindhouse" stlye of Quentin Tarantino. I have studied for many years his work and "Kill Bill"in my opinion emerges as the victor as the ultimate reference guide of cool movies! References in this classic are made to such films as "The good the bad and the ugly", "A Fistfull of Dollars", Five Fingers of Death", "Shogn Assasin" and even The simpsons. The references made in this film require a full essay to decipher, however i seriously urge you to watch this film. Any fans of Grindhouse cinema will not be dissapointed and even if you've never seen any of Tarantino's work it will be a true experience. A truly great film, directed by a truly talented man.
