playing as big a role as the actors, and the soundtrack to his kung-fu exploitation flick Kill Bill Vol. 1 is no exception. Who can forget the marvellous ear-splitting use of Stealers Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle with You" in Reservoir Dogs, or Dusty Springfield's sublime "Son of a Preacher Man" in Pulp Fiction? Tarantino is the executive producer for the Kill Bill Vol. 1 soundtrack and considering his penchant for the wilfully obscure and talent for dusting off old gems, it's not surprising this overtly eclectic collection makes fascinating listening. Along with the jarring--if, thankfully, few--dialogue excerpts, comes delightful gems such as Santa Esmeralda's masterful "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood". There's the slide guitar-fuelled rockabilly cool of Charlie Feathers' "That Certain Female", Spaghetti Western atmospherics from Luis Bacalov, and Wu Tang Clan rapper RZA belting out "Ode to Oren". Not for the faint eared then, but despite breaking every continuity rule in the book, it makes for marvellous listening. --Christopher Barrett

Museness
Advantages: A Quentin Tarantino film with a great plot, and amusing blood Disadvantages: Some people find it boring, but I don't understand it myself...
Kill Bill - a dodgy rhyme but also the acclaimed fourth film from the groudbreakingly famous writer and director Quentin Tarantino. Quentin Tarantino first rocked the movie world with his controversial, and powerful debut film; Reservoir Dogs, a film set in a warehouse after a bodged robbery with a mixture of colour-coded thugs and gangsters, launching the use of what would be Tarantino's trademark flashbacks to tell the story of the robbery. This ... ...Well, frankly, yes...
----------------------------The Kill Bill Collection----------------------------
This box set contains only 2 discs:
-Kill Bill Volume 1 (with film and extras)
-Kill Bill Volume 2 (with film and extras)
These 2 film volumes come together to make one long film, and volume 2 is simply the continuation of the story from where it left off at the end of volume 1. The story tells the revenge tale of "The Bride" (Uma Thurman), ...

Advantages: Uma Thurman's performance, an epic movie. Disadvantages: As usual, from Tarantino, none!
Master Quentin couldn’t get out more surprised from that meeting with Miramax’s “Big Boss” Harvey Weinstein, where he found out that after all his new masterpiece will not only be one movie but actually two… Not that the idea had never crossed his mind before and one hour after receiving Weinstein’s suggestion, Tarantino knew exactly were to split the movie.
“Kill Bill” is a movie you will want to watch in one go, so just prepare yourself and find ... ...(the movies actually only add up to 4h07m but you may need to stop for natural reasons like cold beer in the fridge…).
Why watch it in one go?
When I first watched volume one of “Kill Bill” I was simply in a state of elated bliss, (now you only have to multiply that by two…). But all that excitement wasn’t only because of the cinematography, the games with the camera, the fighting scenes, or the delicious references to the pop culture that intersect ...

Advantages: Bring a martical art and thriller together Disadvantages: If you don't like fight seens and blood
Kill Bill 1: Uma Thurman stars as the Bride, who once was a deadly assassin. She decided she wants out and quits but her team has chosen her only way out is in a coffin. After attempting to kill her on her wedding day the Bride ends up in a coma for years. Upon awakening she sets out to take revenge.
Kill Bill 2: Having killed two of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squard, the Bride continues her mission to avenge the three remaning on her list. ... ...not have just watched the Kill Bill as, as soon as I had finished watching Kill Bill I watched Kill Bill 2 and every time I watch them I watch one after the other.
The fight seens are my best bits from the films and are so well choreographied, I dont know how they do it but its cool to see a woman kick ass.
They are great films and are amoung the top five of my best Quentin Tarantino films. If you are a fan you will like these films but they are ...
