Kill Bill the fourth film by the legendary BAFTA, Academy Award, Emmy winning (to name a few) Quentin Tarantino. This is an epic length drama which houses Hong Kong martial arts movies, Japanese samurai movies and weaponry skills. Kill Bill is ONE story, divided into TWO volumes with FIVE "chapters" each, presented in a way that is normally associated with Tarantino, that revered nonlinear style is a familiar forefront. Nonlinear meaning narrative technique.

Gogo Yubari The FIRST chapter is orientated around the Bride (Uma Thurman)The Bride (Thurman) is introduced in a blood-spattered wedding gown immediately after a violent massacre at an El Paso wedding chapel. She attempts to tell her Bill that she is pregnant with his baby, but he shoots her in the side of her head. The Bride is left for dead dripping in the Chapel.
I don't want to ruin the whole storyline for you but this outlandishly violent and bloody film is legendary in my eyes and is close to Pulp Fiction dare i say. When The Bride confronts Green at her house this set's off the violence better in my mind, her daughter witnessing her death and Thurman inviting her to kill her when she is older was a legendary moment to see such an innocent character witness such a blood event. The van she drives out in is amazing especially the colour scheme for the "PUSSY WAGON".
In the 3rd chapter we are introduced to Lucy Liu "Oren" and After witnessing her parents' murder at the hands of a Japanese crime lord, O-Ren earns her revenge, becomes an assassin and eventually rises to the top of the Yakuza. , and forms her own assassins group "Crazy8"
Chapter 4 sees her go and train with the legendary sword maker to exact revenge on those responsible for her pain, i will not spoil the rest for you this is an excellent film. Tarantino continues his use of CGI and comic effects to further hammer home his point as per Tarantino. Both volumes are equally as crazy if not this one more.
Many referred to the gory blood scenes "cocktail party in an abattoir".
The Music Soundtrack is highly relevant and the eclectic soundtrack gives us a deeper insight into different music styles and genres.
As I recall the scenes, i still get the buzz from it all.. LEGENDARY.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Go Buy!!
