Advantages: Good Performances,Great Songs,Great Story Disadvantages: Poor climax, Unnecessary Love Triangle
When you mention Amitabh Bachan most of us have our own favorites Deewar , Zanzeer , Sholay ,Trishul etc, but too many reviews have been written of these movies. And so I decided to write about a movie which though successful and one of Amit's best performances, doesn't really roll of on the wish list of an AB fan.
The movie I am referring to is Yash Chopra's 1976 movie Kabhie Kabhie starring Amitabh Bachan along with Shashi Kapoor, Neetu Singh,Rakhee, ... ...leading stars in your movie, there is every likelihood of the movie lurching like an overcrowded bus, and end up as a total mish mash, eg Mohabbatein. Kabhie Kabhie is a stand out movie for a couple of reasons. Advantages: Sound and picture quality is fantastic Disadvantages: Limited special features
Kabhi Kabhie is a film which was released in 1976. Apart from winning numerous amount of awards the film is known for the melodious track 'Kabhi Kabhie Mere Dil Mein'. This is truly a classic film, spinning the tale of two lovers and how they cherish their love over the space of two generations. The superstars of bollywood (Rakhee, Rishi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan) show their true acting skills in this uplifting romantic tale.
As ... ...Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum) takes of Yash Johar is purely splendid. However, let me point out that this is mainly the only special feature you will get with the film, which is a bit of a let down. Overall a great film and a must have for all bollywood buffs!
