Jurassic Park is a movie about the pre-historic creatures Dinosaurs that prevailed Earth millions of years ago. Movie is based on a novel by the same name by Michael Crichton. Steven Spielberg has directed the movie and brought the pre-historic back to life through this brilliantly animated movie.
Credits and Cast:- Directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the novel ?Jurassic Park? by Michael Crichton John Hammond played by Richard Attenborough Dr. Alan Grant played by Sam Neill Dr. Ellie Sattler played by Laura Dern Dr. Ian Malcolm played by Jeff Goldblum Alex(John?s granddaughter) played by Ariana Richards Tim(John?s grandson) played by Joseph Mazzello
Story Plot:- Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler are approached by John Hammond who is the CEO of Ingen company and who offers to pay them a handsome amount in turn if they visit his unconventional Park which is 120 miles west off the coast of Costa Rica islands. There they meet Dr. Ian Malcolm and others and discover the truth behind this ?different? park. The park is actually a biological reserve for cloned Dinosaurs which have been resurrected by sucking blood and extracting Dino DNA from a pre-historic mosquito preserved in the Amber. The missing DNA links have been completed by the DNA of frogs. The Dinos have been kept captivated by building a strong electric frnce around the whole park. Everything goes on smoothly until John?s nephew tricks them by hacking the system and steals some Dino DNA to sell to the rival company. Dr.Grant alongwith Dr. Sattler, Dr. Malcolm and Tim and Lex(Hammond?s grandchildren) is on a trip to the park. Little do they know about the danger that prevails as due to hacking the whole system crashed including the electricity and these deadly creatures are now free to roam anywhere and feed on whatever comes in front of them!
My opinion This is one of my most favorite novels and I have seen it more than 20 times. The animation of the movie is simply awesome! My favorite scene from the movie is when Dr. Grant and the children get stuck in the stampede of the Gallimamus. The animation is so brilliant that the herd of Gallimamus that moves appears to be a flock of bird symmetrically flocking together. The Dinosaurs have been so well produced on-screen that throughout the movie they appear to be real and frightful! Not only is the movie a pure entertainer but also teaches umpteen things about these pre-historic animals and their various species. The star-cast is appropriately chosen and that explains the brilliantly played role by the actors! Sam Neill has done a brilliant job as Dr. Grant. Initially he hates kids but then protects them afterwards. Not only does the movie has a remarkable start but an equally impressive ending. I saw this movie in theater and with every growl of the T-Rex in the movie would spring to my seat! The thrill in the movie is amazing and the adventure and the suspense wouldn?t let you bat even an eye-lid for the whole time you watch the movie. The location on which the movie has been shot are most appropriate and on one hand provides a picturesque view to the movie in perfect daylight and showcase the dark jungle at night. Flawless direction, unconventional storyline, talented star cast and much more has been combined in this great piece of work! Hats off! A must watch!
