This opinion is based on the region 1 DVD version of the film and I have no idea if the features are the same as region 2 sorry:)
Jurassic Park is directed by Steven Spielberg and could be one of his best by far.This is a brilliant film for all the family but some younger children may get a little scared during some gruesome scenes.
This masterpiece features Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Coldblum and Richard Attenborough all at their very best.
The story takes place on a remote Island where Mr John Hammond has created a magnificent theme park where the attractions are in fact Dinosaurs (such as Raptor,T-Rex and many more). Dinosaurs that turn deadly when an employee of Mr Hammond shuts down all the power in the park in order to steal some valuable Embryos. Mr Hammond at the time happened to be giving a few scientists and his grandchildren a tour of the park. So as you can probably guess, when the power goes off-line these people are stranded out in the open with hungry Dinosaurs roaming free and after food. The rest of the film is about their battle to survive and escape from these Prehistoric monsters.All of the Dinosaurs look so real and they move and sound so life like its amazing.
I am really pleased with this DVD, and not just with the film itself but with the special features mainly as there is loads to be learnt about dinosaurs.
