Jurassic Park III - "Survival Of The Fittest"
------------------------------------- !!!SUMMARY!!! --------- ---------------------------- I have seen this movie a lot of times and even the first day show on the big cinema.
Well in the movie they have improved a lot of things and they really have done good. The reptiles or you can say dinasours are quite improved in visual features. The team for animation has improved them by showing different small features which they didn't take care of in the last two movies of the franchise.
Jurassic Park III is extremely great movie with great pace.
In the movie, they have showed that dinasours have common sense, they are intelligent, clever and deadly.
Now, In the movie, a twelve year old boy named Eric Kirby (Trevor Morgan) get lost in ISLA SORNA which is 207 miles west of Costa Rica which is a restricted place and is the son of wealthy Paul Kirby (William H. Macy). While Eric's parent Paul (William H. Macy) and Amanda (Tea Leoni) hire Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neili) for escorting them to the Isla island and to tell them about dinasours. And here is where the movie starts with the stupidest idea. Paul takes Alan grant to the island in search of his son cleverly. They took a charted plane to there but a sequence of idiotness help them getting entraped in the island of dinasours. A friend of Alan Grant, Billy (Alessandro Nivola), was also present in the journey. When they get trapped on the island the story begins to start and a great chase of human hunt starts.
Which gives the viewer action, pace, horrified moments, adrenil, special effects, a lots of thriller and offcouse dinasours.
In this squeail, movie team has also worked upon showing new types of reptiles (dinasours).In the last two movies they have worked upon showing all kinds of
reptiles. And in the last two movies, they had also showed a hunt on dinasours or we can say humans vs reptiles but this movie storyline is different. Here there is only one side hunt and that is on humans. Its all about surviving through all. In this movie they have concentrated upon showing the Darvin theory of survival of the fittest. Movie displays how a crew of humans get entrapped and after that they make their way through finding the lost boy and making their way out of the horrfied island.
Well here comes the T-rex and on the opposite side is a Spinosour and a fierce battle among both. Spinosour wins and displays supremacy over T-rex.While somewhere near the mid of the movie Alan Grant finds the boy Eric or quite the opposite. Now at this point of the movie the adaptation is shown by Eric that after three weeks spent alone on the island he has adapted the environment and can detect the presence of dinasours nearby by their sounds and movements. And also identifies the type of dinasours. After this our human crew concentrates on going out of the island to the nearby coast. And doing that is not as easy as it seems. Entry of new dinasours here at this point this time the are birds reptiles or flying dinasours called pteradons. I myself think it was a good idea of putting new chacters in the movie cause they increases the fun and the pace. Viewers will love this thing. Putting the newcomers in the movie enchances the rating of the movie and increases the thriller.
And offcouse in the end is happy endings with horrified memories.
This movie has opened the doors for Fourth part. So if producers think of making a new part then it will be easy for them. But I prefer that its going to be a trilogy. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ !!!ACTING, SOUND EDITING AND COMPOSING, SPECIAL EFFECTS!!! --------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------- Well acting is quite a issue here. I watched them carefully and as per my rating on acting. I'll give: Tea Leoni: 3.5/5 Sam Neili: 4.5/5 William H. Macy: 4.3/5 Trevor Morgan: 4/5 Alessandro Nivola: 4.2/5
While other characters didn't last long in the movie and got eaten quickly by reptiles. Nevermind just kidding!
And Yeah Reptiles are in rating too. Spinosaur: 4.7/5 T-Rex: 4.5/5 Raptors: 4.9/5 Pteradons: 4.5/5 Reptiles have performed well or you can say the animation and direction given to the movement and other effects was quite great. As per last two movies in the franchise, this movie has to be preffered for reptile watch and for the horrified pace they have provided.
Sound editing and composing is great as it matches with the timings in the movie and let your heart to beat at quite fast rate. Low fast paced music has enchanced the thriller.
Here comes the special effects. While taking about the special effects is offcourse related to dinasours. There are few flaws in the movie but they can be skipped coz they can't be noticed or seen just like that. So there is no worry in that area. Mostly Sci-fi movies have some major defects in special effects. But this one goes without them.Team of movie making has really worked well as I had already told you before. They worked on dinasour appearances and had gone with the facts. By saying facts I mean they had changed the looks of raptors as they recently(at the time of making movie) acquired more knowledge on raptors looks through paleontologists and other sources.In the nutshell, great movie with great effects. -------------------------------------------- !!!Dinasour appearances!!! -------------------------------------------- There are quite some new characters seen in the movie.
SPINOSAUR: The contendor in the movie and is quite involved in human hunt. Spinosour is shown as powerful than the T-rex. While in past two movies T-Rex was the condentor. New thing come to be seen in the movie.
T-Rex: Well he comes out only in one scean and for fighting against spinosour. Guess what he loses the battle and get killed at the end of the fight by Spinosour. But great effects and a small fight.
Raptors: They are quite shown different than in past other movies. My favourates. Appearance is a lot better. Thay are shown intelligent, in groups, good coordination in their efforts, common sense and dominant spieces. But have shown differant behaviour in this movie.But still gives viewers a lots of horrified moments and pace.
Pteradons: Flying reptiles and a cruelity that is shown on their faces. Quite good and enchances the pace of the movie.

Advantages: Flapping, running, roaring, hunting, singing, dancing dinos that look more real than you do. Disadvantages: The weighty philosophical monologues on the nature of survival, humanity's power to tamper, evolution, and the social/ethical implications of genetic engineering are bit heavy going sometimes.
