Advantages: Funny because its real and relatable Disadvantages: Sometimes annoying, very polically uncorrect
When I moved to uni almost a year ago, I knew I wasn't going to have a television so my relatives were nice enough to buy me various DVDs to take for watching. Little Britain season one was one such gift. I'd seen a few of the shows on TV and shown a mild interest in it, but I wasn't hooked on it or fussed either way.
The first time I watched the season through I was in hysterics. Each of the characters brings something different and you can follow their situation through the episodes. If you can't follow the many individual characters by watching episode to episode, there is a feature on the DVD that allows you to play all the skits with a particular character. They mostly have their own catchphrase too, which has a strange way of being able to bring strangers together, 'yeah I know', 'yeah but no but yeah but?' and 'eh eh eh ...
Advantages: Funny, inline with the series of little britain Disadvantages: live, different from the normal showing of the series, some of the same stuff
Britain, Britain, Britain, Live, Live, Live, so after seeing this show live in a theatre, I thought it was really funny and hoped it would come out on dvd, so here it is, eagerly waited for.
Little Britain Live, sees the old favourites brought to the stage by the shows creators, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, with the voice of Tom Baker, and supporting acting from Anthony Head. The costume changes are quick and were very much like they were live (no editing for the dvd) and the back drop is cleverly desgined, all in all a well put together show. If you like the tv and radio series then this is a good thing to watch, it fits in well with the show, the sketches make sense, and it sees the return of some of the favourite characters from series one and two, aswell as some of the newer characters from the later series.
Aswell as the show ...
Advantages: Good for sport freaks and people interested in parkour or free running Disadvantages: not everyone likes watching people doing risky things
Do you like extreme sport? Hate walking around and waiting in queues? Do you like risk and adrenaline? Well then this film is for you!!
For those who have never heard of le parkour or free running before:
Parkour is about getting from point A to B as quick and as effective as possible, no matter what obstacles there are on your way.
Free running is almost the same but the time is not important, rather the style and elegance that you show while making your way.
Well if you have seen Casino Royal (most people did) you can surely remember the scene when James Bond was chasing a guy; and now you remember that this was pretty amazing and you would never be able to do that.
In Jump London a team of free runners do exactly such stuff but without any safety nets or animation tricks; all they are doing is real and indeed very risky ...
