Review: 'Tati makes cycling along a tranquil country lane as spellbinding as if it were taking place on a high wire.' (Time Out, )
Advantages: fantastically silly plot, a good satire Disadvantages: poor dialogue, cheesy moments a plenty

According to Josie and the Pussycat, it is all down to a government sanctioned plan to control the youth of America through subliminal messages in pop music. So there you go.
When the boy band sensation DeJour find one such message hidden in their latest single 'Backdoor Lover', they ask their manager Wyatt Frame (played by Alan Cumming) what it is all about. This story is one of the most moving stories i have seen, and you get very involved in what is happening. The twists that the story takes will have you enthralled, and you will be crying by the end of the DVD. Advantages: Charming and a classic mustsee film Disadvantages: Subtitles (this is a French film), oddity, simplicity
.... If you find subtitles irritating, beware.
2. My boyfriend, who didn't like it, found the film
a little too quirky and insubstantial.
3. If you are looking for action and a grand finale,
definitely look elsewhere...
