Advantages: get to see lots in short space of time
Disadvantages: don't get much time in each place

VIP Tours of California - Grand Tour of Los Angeles On my way home from my GAP year away my husband and I decided to stop in LA. We stayed in a Holliday Inn hotel near LAX, once we arrived here we found a brochure on VIP Tours and decided to go on what they call the most popular tour which was called the 'Grand Tour of Los Angeles'. It cost in American dollars $59 (adult) and $40 (child). One American dollar is roughly equal to roughly 0.6 United Kingdom Pounds. It was very easy to book this tour with the representative in our hotel for the next day. We had a few different times we could have chosen to go on out tour. On the morning of the tour a bus lifted us at the hotel and took us to their offices so we could pay for the tour and change buses to start the tour. Review of Hollywood VIP tours (Grand Tour of LA)

Carrera or Kona?

Advantages: Great for downhill
Disadvantages: suspension no good for road.

The old Carerra bikes seem to be doing well for themselves of late, Halfords still arent offering them though at a reasonable price. The Carrera is what I would call an entry level bike, the bikes are built in the same factory as Kona so expect the same level of workmanship you would from a top name like Kona. This bike comes with the Tough 4 bar link full suspension 7005 aluminium Bi-axial tubed frame. Suntour XC60 fork, 27spd Shimano Deore transmission, Tektro IO Disc brakes, FSA Alpha drive chain set, Tioga double butted handlebars, Tioga stem and seatpost, Tioga Factory Extreme 2. 1 tyres, Shock comes with adjustable pre-load and rebound damping. Veron, Verona, wherefore art thou Verona

Advantages: Beautiful City, lots to see & do
Disadvantages: None

Walking around Verona in early June, there was a smell all over the city, not the smell of decaying rubbish as I experienced in my work trip to Naples, but the sweet smell of tree blossom, and Jasmine, even my hotel had Jasmine growing under the window! I never really took to Shakespeare, at school I was more into war stories, and adventures, but Verona forever has the association with Romeo & Juliette, as you walk around the city, you will see plaques embedded in various walls with Shakespearean quotes. *** Where is it? *** Verona is in the Central Northern part of Italy Built on a tight bend in the river Adige, it was easy to defend, as the water provided a natural barrier, also it was a natural crossing point.
