Who dunnit? Review ofJonathan Creek - Series 1 And 2 (Box Set)by

Advantages: Excently priced, good old fashioned entertainment Disadvantages: No DVD extras
Jonathan Creek was almost something I had grown up with, turning into somewhat of a cult show during the late 90’s. So, when I found a DVD box set life looked up, and with good reason. Put simply, this DVD set is seriously worth a look, with its combination of comedy, intrigue and mystery Jonathan Creek is a must have for any mystery lover. Disc One shows the "originals" of Jonathan Creek whereby the writers and cast members are setting down the successful stones that the show was built upon. My particular favourite from the first disc being the "Jack in the Box" episode where Jonathan and Maddy investigate the supposed ... ...a gorilla goes insane and Jonathan has to query how a person got in and out of a locked room without leaving any evidence of their trails, enthralling stuff.
From the second disc, I was particularly impressed with the "Time Waits for Norman" episode. This offered another one of the series' interesting twists and probably the most-unexpected. A vegetarian man is photographed in a local hamburger bar, despite being adament that he was in America at ...
