I have seen all of these films more than once, if you like the old fashioned American films of yesterday together with the legendary John Wayne and many more great actors and actresses this is for you. My favourites are Chisum, Rio Bravo and the wonderful Searchers, with Natalie Wood. The Searchers is a story of a man searching for his neice, together with his adopted nephew. Rio Bravo is a film made later on in his career, and he shows all his charm and charisma also in this film. John Wayne films never let you down and usually the good guy wins, which is how we all want it to be. The rugged scenery in these films is also great, and as in John Wayne films there is often a bit of comedy.

DVD Description
A 5 DVD set of some of John Wayne's best known Westerns. CHISUM (1970) sees Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid come to the aid of a cattle boss who is in conflict with an evil businessman. In CAHILL - US MARSHALL (1973) Wayne plays an ageing U.S. Marshall who finds that his sons are suspects in a robbery he is investigating. In RIO BRAVO (1959) a cowboy who is just passing through town teams up with a Sheriff and together they defend the townspeople against marauding outlaws. In the classic Western, The SEARCHERS (1956) a husband and wife are killed by Indians, their daughter is taken; the husbands brother sets out to track the Indians down and bring the daughter back. In the COWBOYS (1972) a rancher recruits a group of schoolboys to help him drive his cattle.
