...I've always been a big fan of John Thaw since seeing an Inspector Morse episode as a young teenager.
His amazing ability to bring a character to life and suck you into the role grabbed me from the offset and I followed his TV work ever since.
John was born in Manchester on 3rd January 1942 and always wanted to be an actor. He was encouraged by his teachers and at the age of 16 he joined RADA and trained as an actor.
John Thaw had parts in many television shows, films and stage shows including: Redcap, The Sweeney, Dead Man's Chest, Thick as thieves and more recently Inspector Morse and Kavanagh Q.C.

Contained in the set are...

Advantages: The great John Wayne, this box set is perfect for Western fans. Disadvantages: None
...I have seen all of these films more than once, if you like the old fashioned American films of yesterday together with the legendary JohnWayne and many more great actors and actresses this is for you.
My favourites are Chisum, Rio Bravo and the wonderful Searchers, with Natalie Wood. The Searchers is a story of a man searching for his neice, together with his adopted nephew. Rio Bravo is a film made later on in his career, and he shows all his charm and charisma also in this film. JohnWayne films never let you down and usually the good guy wins, which is how we all want it to be. The rugged scenery in these films is also great, and as in JohnWayne films there is often a bit of comedy....
