Advantages: Seven films in one box set Disadvantages: none
the peace does'nt last long and becomes involved in one more gunfight,
Anyone who likes westerns would enjoy these films and even the films without, some of JohnWaynes finest.
I would recommend this boxset for anyone looking to buy a collection of great films as a gift for their dad, granddad, brother or son, prices vary the rrp is £59.99 ($120) to as cheap as £18 ($36) brand new. ...
Advantages: The great John Wayne, this box set is perfect for Western fans. Disadvantages: None
I have seen all of these films more than once, if you like the old fashioned American films of yesterday together with the legendary JohnWayne and many more great actors and actresses this is for you.
My favourites are Chisum, Rio Bravo and the wonderful Searchers, with Natalie Wood. The Searchers is a story of a man searching for his neice, together with his adopted nephew. Rio Bravo is a film made later on in his career, and he shows all his charm and charisma also in this film. JohnWayne films never let you down and usually the good guy wins, which is how we all want it to be. The rugged scenery in these films is also great, and as in JohnWayne films there is often a bit of comedy. ...
Advantages: none Disadvantages: loads of scenes and music scores have been cut out
this is the only fools and horses complete collection boxset but in my eyes it isnt because loads of scenes have been cut and musical scores changed or cut out and laughter tracks added onto episodes that didnt originally have a laughter track. so its not really the complete collection is it with all these things changed and added the episode a royal flush is the one that been edited the most loads of scenes have been cut and a laughter track added wich spoils the episode completely. i would strongly recommend anyone that want to see all the episodes in all their glory is to tape them off uk gold its better than this so called complete collection that the bbc have released im still waiting for the genuine complete collection. ...
