I went to see this film in the cinema as soon as it came out and I absoloutely loved it! It was a 12A and it was so funny and the story was very original. Im writing a review so others can see how good this film really is.
The story:
John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe) is a high school teen basketball player who is dating 3 girls all at the same time:
Beth the vegan, Heather the cheerleader and Carrie the over-achieving school journalist. Then one day at school the obese p.e. teacher fainted and went to hospital so the two p.e. classes (including beth, heather and carrie) are merged into one meaning they are all in a class together. This is when it all goes wrong when Carrie tells her friend that shes dating john tucker and heather hears, the two girls soon get into a fight oven John when Beth comes over and tries to stop the fight until she finds out its John tucker they're fighting over and joins the fight. Somehow kate (Brittany Snow) who has just moved to the town gets tangled up in the fight and they all get sent to detention. They all talk about it there and they later meet at kate's house and decide to not dump him but get even! Unfortunately john then dumps all the girls so they send kate out to make John fall in love with her so that they can break his heart.

Favourite quotes:
Some of my favourite quotes are:
Carrie: Beths still in the truck Heather: What? Carrie: Slut in truck!
Heather: John and I belong together. He's the varsity captain, and after all, I AM the head cheerleader. Beth: Sorry what kind of cheerleader?
Carrie: Chocolate is the John Tucker of all snack foods Beth: What it has to get with every candy on the shelf?
John Tucker: Not deep? I am deep! I'm dating the poetry club!
DVD extras:
Some of the DVD extras are:
-A commentry by Betty Thomas and Mark Freidman -Some deleted scenes -On the rebound which is just a piece of film of Jesse Matcalfe goofing around and shooting some hoops -A quiz on the movie -A theatrical trailer -A soundtack promotion
Unfortunately the DVD extras aren't as good as they sound but the DVD is still worth getting because of the film itself.
Final thought:
Overall it is an excellent, funny teen film with many of funny quotes that i would definately recommend to others.
Also some other films that you may like if you like John Tucker must die: -Clueless -Mean Girls -Bring it on
