A bit of a slow starter, they played on Joey's dumbness a bit too much to get the first few laughs. once the characters had settled in though i think the series progred nicely. The introduction of new characters such as Lucy Liu and Joey's actor nemesis were well timed and give the show something to work towards in the future. All the characters have the potential to achieve greatness in this. The location of LA is perfect and gives Joey a chance to shine on his own for a change I had hoped they were not going to reply on old jokes too much to make him funny and bring him into own which he slowly doing throughout the series but alas they did. The story basically is about Joey who has moved from New York to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. He meets up with his sister and her son (the guy from Road Trip) who really steals the show at some times. It also features Joeys new Agent (the milf from American Pie) who to be honest is fantastic and hilarious! I can't believe that the series has now been cancelled. I admit the show started slowly and took a while to get into the swing of things but by the end of Season One it was almost as good as Friends.

gr8 review. It became too desperate in my opinion. Matt LeBlanc is a gorgeous actor and I think the producers were just thinking that was enough, but it didn't really work with the other cast members. Joey will always need Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Ross & Chandler with him. Especially Chandler, they work so well together. Good review though. Kirsyt
