Fraggle rock was a kids and grown ups favourite television programme from the 1980's. Produced with the help of Jim Henderson's Muppets creations this show combined cute characters, enjoyable song and excellent moral teachings of friendship importance and caring for others.

My favourite bit is, and will always be, the amazingly up-beat and admittely catchy theme tune at the start, which they play full length. I can never help but sing along. The episodes are well, not actually episodes, more like sections divided into each aspect of the making. For example the story boards, puppet designers, pupptiers, actors voices, stage set up and song cast. Entertainingly put together with a constant snap shot of certain favourite episodes and actually shows some of them being made. Also lots of interviews and charatcer documentary makes an interesting and alternative viewing package.
DVD bonus features include more behind the scenes footage no songs and no episodes but is interesting to the elder audience. If, however you're a child and want to still believe fraggles do actually live beneath your kitchen then I wouldn't let them see this unless you wanted a lot of agro and possibly crying.
Overall a 3 star rating, nothing special for £7.99 and no real actual episodes just lots of talking and the only entir song is the theme at the intro - not half as enjoayable as the actual episodes. Howerver still interesting to learn about puppetiering and stage managemets productions, but not one I'd watch more than once or twice. Although the extra features are lots of fun the price isn't justifiable as it's only 48 minutes of actual viewing. Still would be great for any fraggle fan this xmas, young or old. However I wouldn't have paid this much knowing how little you get for the money. Thanks anyway for reading, wishing you all the best, mintz x x x
