My dad taped this off BBC2 for me late one night, around eight or nine years ago. We thought is was the best thing since Enter the Dragon. Admittedly there was not a lot of Kung fu on terrestrial tv at the time (or now for that matter). Short of absurd dubbing (which lost it one star) this is an all round Brilliant film. Love it. (Also I'm sure I remember this film being called something like 'Once upon a time in China: The legend of Fong Sai Yuk' if that is true then maybe western publishers think we cant handle a title that descriptive. I also remember years ago seeing a sequel, and it being rubbish. Definately worth buying, a must for Jet Li and kung fu lovers.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.

More info would be helpful i.e. an idea of the plot, whats the acting like, what makes it a good film etc. Try reading reviews by others, you'll see the info and detail they contain. :-)
