Reason why its excellent to me is because both movies the defender and the enforcer were both really good movies, the first movie the defender, Jet Li plays the part of a chinese PLA officier trained as one of the worlds best body guards, train in a series of martial arts with weapons training. His mission is to protect a girl who witnesses a murder conducted by a traid lord. During his mission he works along side two hong Kong Police officiers, along with the girls younger brother. The triad lord hires a series of assasins from Mainland China two of which are brothers who are ex-PLA soldiers. One of the brothers are killed by Jet Li and the younger brother comes after jet Li for revenge.
The second movie the enforcer, Jet Li is a chinese agent, who goes into Hong Kong undercover as part of a triad ring, leaving his song and wife behind. the wife unexpectedly dies, and his son goes to Hong Kong to search for his father, only to find him in a triad headquarter, and to protect his son and his life, he beats his son up infront of the triads, and asks a friend to look over him. The crime ring sets up a private auction which was basically a plan to steal rich peoples money and valuables, Jet Li as an agent his mission was to stop this from happening and with the help from his 10 year old son they defeat the crime ring.
Actors performances in these movies are great, especially with the acting of the fat cop when his partner is seriously injured, and the stunt work with Jet Li and his son in the enforcer, its fun to watch a 10 year old kid wiping the ass of grown ups with his father, nice rope action and some tonfus, some futuristic reloading methods in the defender with jet li. and some nice stunt work in the mall, with some fast and furious fighting in both movies.
The dvd features to the 2 discs, are the 2 language audio options of english and cantonese, along with english subtitles. the product also comes along with the usual chapter selections, and also some dvd trailers for other jet li films, and also trailers for the movies that are featured by the dvd and also some actor biography's.

Jet Li does kick ass - The Defender is a great film, and nice to hear the DVD's have the original language version as some of the English dubs of the great mans films are suspect to say the least. As below, you need to go into more detail as to what makes the films so good - characters/performances, stunts etc :) tom

It is good to give a nice plot outline - which you have done, but would be more helpful if you could describe your experience & views on the film, what did you like/dislike about it? You could talk about the actors that really stand out or special effects used etc. If you have the DVD, you could also talk about the extras on it. Let me know if you update & I will re-rate for you.
