This film has everything that Jeepers Creepers 1 had and it ties up all the loose ends that were left from the first one. Like Jeepers Creepers there are a lot of bloody, brutal, gorey and unpleasant scenes not for the weak stomachs.
PLOT:
THE OPENING CREDITS STARTS WITH “Every 23rd spring, for 23 days, it gets to eat... and today is day 22” This scared me already……
The films starts as the Creepers pretends to be a scarecrow in a field, a small child is helping his father by putting up the rest of the scarecrows in the fields when he see’s one move he goes for a closer look but the Creeper snatches the boy and flies off into the sky watching in horror is the young boy’s father and older brother. The boy’s heartbroken father and his brother set about making home made weapons to kill the beast.
The film is mostly set around a bus load of jocks and cheerleaders that are returning back from a victorious basketball game. Out on a deserted highway their high spirits are soon dissolved when they discover that their punctured tyre is more than just an accident and that the whole bus load are now on the menu. . On the bus a radio report reveals the gruesome details of a burning body dump discovered by police (the house that the original showed). This also triggers nightmare visions for a cheerleader who receives warnings from the Jeepers Creepers 1 last victim. Soon enough the Creeper arrives and one by one the victims are picked off whilst those that are left are seemingly powerless to help their friends. Soon the Creeper is not their only problem with a lot of tension and racism on the bus they all start to turn on each other.
This horror does start well however does end very stupidly and it does make me think there will be a third someone. I can imagine it now Jeepers Creepers Resurrected something silly like that. People who like blood and gore in films will find love watching Jeepers Creepers 2, though it isn't as scary as Jeepers Creepers 1. I did find that there were a lot of jumpy parts and if you get scared easily I wouldn’t recommend watching this alone.DVD EXTRA’S
WORD OF WARNING:When I bought this DVD I thought that I would stick it in and start it up however I had to watch a hell of a lot of trailers for new films and old ones coming on to DVD. Now I thought that with DVD’s it either didn’t have any trailers or we could skip those annoying trailers and go right to the film however not this one you have got to watch them before the menu comes up.
