The film begins in a quiet country farmhouse on day 22. When you’re sat in your seat you think a loud noise is going to crash into the movie and start things up a bit but it doesn’t. A boy, who looks about 13 to 14 years old is tightening scarecrows to their posts in a field, but the crows all stand on a particular scare crow, the Creeper. The Creeper moves his head to look at the boy and the boy sees him so he quickly turns his head back, the famous advert scene. The boy is shocked and walks in front of the Creeper and the boy runs away but the Creeper leaps off his post onto the boy. The boy’s father, Jack, and brother, Jack junior, hear the boy screaming and then Jack comes out of a shed with a shotgun. They both run into the cornfield chasing the Creeper who has the kid in his hands (but for some reason don’t shoot) and before they realise it, the Creeper is in the sky with the kid.
The next scene is day 23. A busload of students, singing an awful song, are on their way home from an American Football game. One lad is mad for not been able to play enough but then a tyre bursts and the adults on the bus, the bus driver (female) and two football coaches (male), investigate and find 4 long teeth welded together in the torn tyre. They try to get home with one less tyre. A girl on the bus is sleeping and the whole screen turns white and she dreams about the lad on Jeepers Creepers 1 and he then turns into the bloody mess of the boy taken the day before, (Jeepers Creepers 2) and she sees the Creeper running in her dream and another 4 tooth spike thing is thrown at another tyre of the bus, which then bursts for real, not in her dream. The bus can’t go anywhere so the Adults start to put flares on the road and the Creeper swoops down and goes back in the sky in a split second, funny seeing someone just get dragged into the sky but intense at the same time. When the students are on the bus alone they become terrified and start arguing whenever the Creepers not around when they should be making a run for it. The Creeper is laid on top of the bus looking through the window at all the terrified students and smiles while it’s choosing the people it wants to eat. The Creeper grabs a lad’s hair and a girl picks up a spear and jabs it through the Creepers eye. The Creeper flies up away from them and then falls back down onto the bus and shatters every window and leaves a huge dint in the roof of the bus. Being the gruesome film it is, the Creeper pulls the spear out of his eye towards the nearest ear and takes off half of his own face instead of just sliding it through his head. So now, obviously the Creeper needs a new head. This being a horror film, he then pulls the head off one of the lads on the bus, and yes, Creepers got a new face. I’m not going to tell you the rest because there would be no point in watching it yourself and miss out on all the gory, tense excitement and it’ll make you want to watch it more but I can tell you the Creeper looks like a Gremlin crossed between Freddy Krueger. I have to admit, like all sequels, it wasn’t as good as the first one. I think you get to see too much of the Creeper and it’s not as horrifying as it would be if we didn’t. We don’t get to see the Creeper’s lair in this film. There is an obvious way to kill the Creeper at the end, but they don’t do it…there is a car set on fire, the Creeper is on the floor in a wreck and they could pick him up and throw him on the burning car but they don’t! This is a must see film but would be a lot scarier I think if the Creeper was human in Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2.
My overall opinion of the film was that it is probably unbeatable in action horror of any films this year, so go and see it…it’s great!

I wasn't going to bother watching the second one, as I was so disappointed with the first (after the brilliant build up in the first half hour, it crumbled). After reading your op I might change my mind and give it a try. Sandra.

Hmmmm......like the op. may go and see the film now. I take it the acting was the usual camp standard found in US horror films? xx E.
