Review of Freaky Friday DVD by  d4u04

Advantages: superb acting
Disadvantages: nothing important

...Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsey Lohan lead a great cast of actors, old and young, tess coleman is an up-tight 30-something engaged to her 2nd fiancee about to get married, Anna, her daughter thinks she doesn't understand her or have enough time for her anymore, cue a series of magical events in which Anna and Tess swap bodies for a day in order to work out how the other feels, a heart-felt, warm family film with an ending so sweet it made my boyfriend cry, Lindsey and Jamie are amazing as mother and daughter and effortlessly change their acting abilities when the two-some switch roles, a deffinite must see for any fan of typical disney films, fun and frolics through-out!... Jamie Oliver - Jamie At Home
Review of Jamie Oliver - Jamie At Home DVD by  Sarahhhx

Advantages: It covers a great amount of food
Disadvantages: Nothing

...I spent £14.99 on this wounderful creation, Jamie Oliver has done himself proud. I was never a fan of his untill recently, my friend bought me the dvd for my birthday and I must admit I was pretty impressed! From the DVD you can tell that over the last few years Jamie has been spending most of his spare time at home, growing things in his garden and becoming totally inspired to cook with all his own produce. The main reason Jamie Oliver probley did this DVD was to promote growing food at home, nothings better then produce made in your own back garden. This brand new DVD includes all 12 episodes from the series. From potatoes and tomatoes to pumpkin and game. And if you fancy getting your hands dirty in the garden, there\s some basic planting information and tips that he learnt along the way too. I couldn't quiet remeber all the home... Read review

Still Quacking After All These Years?
Review of Count Duckula - Series 3 - Complete DVD by  RayWhitney

Advantages: Excellent DVD quality, cartoon still entertains kids
Disadvantages: Nostalgia freaks might be disappointed, no extras

...is a green duck. The classic cartoon, which aired from the late Eighties to the early Nineties, was one of Cosgrove Hall's many celebrated animated wonders (DangerMouse and Jamie and the Magic Torch being two others), and remains to this day as one of the most fondly-remembered retro relics, up there with Dib Dabs, Space Raiders and Philip Schofield when he didn't have old-man face. The question we post today is - is Count Duckula still as instantly watchable and surreally enjoyable as it was when it flickered on our CITV screens, or is it best left to the past, only emerging nowadays for drunken renditions of its theme song? First impressions are sound enough - the menu screen is functional but nice - shirking annoying complicated animations and repeating audio loops with a basic, meat and two veg approach (although you do get the theme song...
