Boston. The concert took place less than 24 hours after the assassination of Martin Luther King. Also included the very best of the live James Brown broadcasts throughout the States, contrasting the swagger of the young James Brown in the mid sixties, with the now legendary Godfather Of Soul of 1980.Tracklisting:Papa's Gotta Brand New BagI Got You (I Feel Good) 1966Get It TogetherThere Was A Time I Got The FeelingPrisoner Of LoveThat's LifeKansas CityIt's A Man's Man's Man's WorldI Got The Feeling Part 2Try MeCold SweatMaybe The Last TimeI Got You (I Feel Good) 1968Please, Please, PleaseI Can't Stand ItI Got You (I Feel Good) 1980
Roy Chubby Brown - Dirty Weekend In Blackpool
This is a DVD that I received for my Christmas; I have also been a huge fan of Chubby and his antics. Given the fact that this review can be read by anyone I will not be using any inappropriate language or reference to his stand up shows.
The main man himself
Chubby - Born "Royston Vasey" on February the 3rd 1945 at Grangetown in Middlesbrough, He left home at the age of 14 years of age, living rough and having many part time jobs, time where difficult for him. Previous jobs even include the royal navy. His first appearance on national television was way back in 1970 when he appeared in a show called New Faces; he came second on that particular episode. Roy then failed his audition on Opportunity knocks when he said the word a**e.

Advantages: Seems to Capture the moment in time..... Disadvantages: Nothing like the real show....
by David Gilmour will know exactly what I mean....especially after watching the live 8 concert....
Soon after this we are down to the symbolic event of the " Wall " coming down, along with all the caricatures and cartoon characters drawn by Gerald Scarfe, which were all projected onto the massive full size cardboard " Wall " which spanned the length of the stage.......Visually Stunning Indeed.....but musically a pale shadow of what it should have been.....
We then get a new song from Roger Waters to finish off the show called....The Tide is Turning....and thats it......
Overall, a pretty poor concert, looks much better on DVD than it did on the day I was there.....
All in all......just another prick at the Wall.......inBerlin..
DVD Extras...
This is quite an old one, so there is very little on here, just a few snippets ...
Advantages: Well acted, keeps you engaged throughout Disadvantages: None
LivingIn Oblivion is a low budget independent film written and directed by Tom DiCillo and starring Steve Buscemi and Dermot Mulroney.
Sure, these aren't A-list stars, but that lends itself to the story. If it was a film about the making of a film and you had George Clooney and Brad Pitt pretending to be small time actors you wouldn't believe it. That's why it was better to use less well known actors, it pulls you more into the story.
The film takes place during one day on set of a low budget movie, and documents all the problems that the director, Nick (Buscemi), and everyone else can encounter, from equipment malfunctioning to office politics to actors forgetting their lines. It's almost like a documentary, it is very realistic and gives you the complete story as to what it's like trying to get a film made.
