Advantages: Extends the Wonderful Blues Brother Story Disadvantages: Pathetic compared with Original
...I was hopeful when this film came out. I know that John Belushi has died, but still this had to be good? Wrong! The film is an almost exact copy of the Original, but with Songs that are not as memorable, and some really rediculous plot turns. I loved the Original, and so liked this just because it prolonged the story, but apart from that, it was a real dissapointment. The best bit, however, is seeing the music stars again : Aretha Franklin, JamesBrown, etc, and even Eric Clapton joins in this time. But If you only liked the original, stear clear - this is only for die- hard fans.
P.S. And how dare they do that to a Mercedes - Benz!...
