Disadvantages: A little cheesy, nothing major though

Review of Live And Let Die (DVD)

Roger Moore's last outing as Bond at 57!!!

Advantages: Great fast paced action
Disadvantages: Moore too old, too much killing

Duran Duran. The film has good action for the whole way through, and Moore and Walken as enemies keep it fast paced, but I felt the plot was not as good as other Bond films. It was not as believable, and hence the plot suffered. However, the scenery and settings for the film are as beautiful as we have come to expect with Bond films. The Eiffel Tower is the setting for a chase scene, including its Jules Verne Restaurant, as is the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and some ski scenes in the Swiss Alps. The camer work is better than in director John Glen's previous Bond films, and the director seems to be cementing his role as a Bond director rather well. Although the box office disagrees, many have put this down as the worst Bond film made, including Roger Moore and Sean Connery. Moore was 57 when the film was released, and both he ...

Review of A View To A Kill (DVD)

The Irish Bond.

Advantages: All of the Brosnan films in one box with decent extra's.
Disadvantages: Product placement gets worse by the last film!!

a total of 4 films which are all included in this box set. Six years after the last Bond film, James Bond returned in Bond 17. ----The Films---- GoldenEye (1995) This was the first vehicle that Brosnan appeared in and for me this is probably the better out the four films he made. It is moody, dramatic and will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Although in some places it does step up toi the line of unbelievable it does not cross it to the extent that a film like Charlie's Angels did. The story starts with a flashback in the impressive pre-title sequence with the plot revolving around rouge agent 006 who steals the GoldenEye weapon with the intent of wiping out the Bank of England and all computer records in the City Of London.
