Advantages: All of the Brosnan films in one box with decent extra's. Disadvantages: Product placement gets worse by the last film!!
villain and plays the role totally over the top. This is something that we have not seen in a Bond film for a while as a villain going for world domination. His wife is played by Desperate Housewife's star Terri Hatcher. The character she plays of Paris Carver is an old flame of Bond as she shows how she felt about his sudden departure when she slaps him, this blows Bonds cover. M also shows her support Team in the opening scenes, characters such as Charles Robinson played by Colin Salmon work well as this is a fresh addition.
TomorrowNeverDies is bigger than the previous film. But that is not necessarily a good thing as this film has a number of flaws, Brosnan bulked up for the role and doesn't look comfortable in a tux. It also feels as if the story goes from one action set piece to another constantly and this can become a little ...
Advantages: 3 Great Films Disadvantages: Rather expensive RRP on them in comparsion
Golden, Golden, Golden. Undoubtedly 3 of the best Bonds. First of all theres Goldfinger featuring evil arch villain (you guessed it) Goldfinger, has a strange obsession of murdering people by covering them in solid gold paint. Will Goldfinger succeed in his attempt to rob Fort Knox, surely not, but hey, it's Bond... anything can happen. The Second Golden film, this time, is the Man With the Golden Gun. Here new Bond Roger Moore, takes on new villain Fransisco Scaramanga, on of the best assassins there is, who uses a Golden Gun. So when Bond receives a bullet with his name on from him, things start to get a bit heated. Will Scaramanga succeed in assassinating Bond, or will he be made to bite the "bullet". The third Golden Bond is Golden Eye, this sees yet another new Bond, Pierce Brosnan, star in his debut film. Things look bad for Bond ...
Advantages: you are able to view all of the Connery episodes Disadvantages: There are none
As a 17 year old boy, you may not expect me to be interested in rather old or classic films like these. infact i was expecting the same. But as i was forced to watch the boxset when on a some what rainy holiday, my imagination was captured by a rugged, hansome Sean Connery. whether he's trying to escape from Dr.No's island, hunting for the decoder, beating Goldfinger at golf, flying away from danger on jet packs or just plain old saving rhe world he encapulates the audiance in his films. i feel that Sean Connery captures the essance of JamesBond in the films where he is cast, and is by far the best JamesBond that i have seen so far.
